Not to be confused with Animal Kingdom’s Dino Diner, this detailed and fun restaurant within Yoshi’s Island looks as if it is literally built into one of the indoor hillsides within Yoshi’s Island. With a classic diner feel for the façade, yet 100% Yoshi, guests will enjoy the numerous menu options that await.

Stepping inside, a world of colors greets your senses. From various sizes of Yoshi eggs to Koopa shells and all things in between, the place is alive with references to the world Yoshi inhabits. A whose who wanted list lines the back wall with numerous villains Yoshi has faced portrayed in comedic form. Burt the Bashful, Roger the Potted Ghost and Hookbill the Koopa are just a few of the unfriendly faces that provide a few moments of laughter as you scan the posters.

The diner offers several seating options from booths to table tops. While the seating areas themselves are open to accommodate guests, the dining areas tend flow just off center with small alcoves here and there providing unique dining spots. Taking your seat, you will notice all the booth’s and chair’s material has a similar pattern to that of Yoshi’s saddle shell.

Ring-a-ring Cantina

Where healthy living and tasty food meet together to form a nutritious balance.
Ring a Ring.jpeg
Ring-a-ring Cantina will be inspired by Ring Fit Adventure and its titular character Ring. Guests have come across Ring's homeland, and his creators place of culinary being. Ring with the help of the chefs found across the lands have turned this Cantina into a health orientated ethnic food hall which should strike a cord with the more health conscious and adventurous population of New York. The exterior is based off of pueblo architecture. To draw attention to the cantina the base of the building has been painted with orange leaves and other organic prints. The doorways and windows have a bright red coloring. These color choices will blend well into the pueblo architecture, call back to the color scheme of the protagonists in Ring Fit Adventure, and set it apart from the rest of the land.

Upon walking into the cantina guests are welcome to a large circular room. In the center is a statue depicting the early people of the land utilizing the ring in their ancient workouts. Papel picado banners are scattered throughout the ceiling of the room, and in the designs are ancient peoples enjoying healthy food along with exercising. Also in this central room are four areas spilt off into equal sections for the restrooms, Paleta Planks, Lunge Box, and Crunch Bites. The three named areas are play on words involving exercises and terms associated with food such as the sticks in a paleta, a lunch box, and the sound one makes when eating. Since this is a food hall concept guests go up to the area this wish to order from, and pick up their food there.

There will be two large dining rooms on the left and right of the circular room. One room is a piñata factory room in which guests can celebrate and party with their healthy meal, and the other room is the ruins of the ancient society that Ring is from. Throughout both rooms digital displays will show off Ring and some healthy living tips that cycle through the day, but the main focus will be that a healthy life is a happy one.
